This is much more than I expect all the toolls in this pack has a lot of power and is realy fast the time for recharge of the batteries, so you don't waist time.
This group of battery powered power tools have proven very good. The new 18 volt power source provides enormous power and extends the useful job time for the tool. I have found all of the tools to be excellent quality.
This combo set does not list for over $1200. So don't be fooled into thinking you are getting something for over 60%. It is still a deal though, I have seen this combo kit on other websites for around $600 and higher-so it really ~15-25% discounted.
The tools work OK but it's all "MADE IN CHINA" despite the Makita US all over the description. I feel like I personally told some American family they're now unemployed. I only have the set for a couple months, the charger is the noisiest battery charger I ever heard. I apologize to whomever I just laid off by buying this.
These tools are perfect for jobs around the house and have already paid for themselves by solving a few tricky problems. I haven't used the circular saw yet, but it's time to shine is coming soon. Obviously these tools are not as powerful as their corded counterparts, but who wants to carry a 50 ft extension cord around wherever you go. Most of the other reviews are very accurate in their descriptions for these tools, what can I add. I've used Makita brand tools before and they seem to last a long time. The flashlight is bright but I would've preferred just about any other tool instead since I doubt I will ever use it.
The impact driver is really cool since it is able to get into small areas and has quite a bit of torque for such a small tool.

It looks like the price has gone up since I bought this 2 months ago ($500).
I used worked in construction several years ago, but currently I only use these tools for destroying/repairing things at home.
;-)The tools all feel very sturdy and well made and you really can't beat the price offered here on Amazon.
The grinder made quick work of cutting the bolts (the grinder came with 2 different types of blades).
The reciprocating saw would've probably been easier but it didn't come with metal blades and I didn't feel like going back to the store again.The battery charger charges in 30 minutes as advertised which is great.
Just buying 2 of these tools at the store can set you back around $300 (my dad still likes to buy things at the store).
Overall I am very happy with these tools because they meet my needs and situation perfectly.
